KARACHI:Universities and Boards Department Government of Sindh has removed N.E.D Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Sarosh Hashmat Lodi from the convenorship of high-powered committee for funding of state-run universities of the province and replaced him with IBA Sukkur Vice Chancellor Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui.
Secretary Department of Universities and Board has already issued a notification about new committee.
Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law VC Justice (retd) Qazi Khalid, N.E.D VC Profn Sarosh Lodi, University of Karachi VC Dr. Ajmal Khan, Jinnah Sindh Medical University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Tariq Rafi and IBA Karachi Sirector Farrukh Iqal will be the members of the committee.
Committee will work out a formula to distribute funds amongst the state-run universities of Sindh within 30 days.
