KHAIRPUR:Eight people, including a woman, were injured in a clash near Khairpur on Friday.
Two groups of Solangi and Chandio communities clashed in village Noor Khan Chandio within the jurisdiction of Kumb police station in taluka Kot Dij. They attacked each other with sticks and bricks as a result, eight people were injured.
Among injured were Farhana Solangi, her brother Zeeshan Solangi, Ghulamullah Chandio, Abdul Rahim Chandio, Altaf Chandio, Gulsher Chandio.
Kumb police reached the spot and arrested five accused villagers of both sides and started further investigation. Panic gripped the area after the clash that occurred over a land dispute.
