MACH:Eleven coal miners were killed and four others were injured in a armed attack in Mach area of the Balochistan province on Sunday.
According to police, unidentified armed men shot dead 11 coal miners and injured four others in a mountainous area near Mach when they were going for the work.
Heavy contingents of police, security forces and rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies to the Mach Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The deceased belonged to Hazara community.
Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has strongly condemned the tragic incident and directed the authorities to submit a detailed report of the incident.
He said targeting innocent people did not deserve mercy. Expressing heartfelt grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the incident, he directed the authorities to mobilize all resources for apprehending perpetrators of the crime.
