Two suspected robbers were injured and taken into custody after an armed encounter with the police in the Dalmia area on Wednesday.
According to information released by the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Aziz Bhatti Police Station, the incident occurred near the cement factory when a police unit stopped the suspects, resulting in an exchange of fire.
During the exchange of fire, two individuals named Nisar and Sajid were injured. They were immediately arrested at the scene and have been moved to a hospital for medical attention.
The authorities have recovered two pistols, along with bullets, and a motorcycle from the possession of the arrested suspects.
The Aziz Bhatti Police Station has initiated further investigation into the matter.
