Resignations will benefit PTI regime: Dharejo

KARACHI:Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce and Anti-Corruption and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said that the resignations of opposition members will benefit the PTI selected government.

“The PPP will face the selected government at all levels inside and outside the parliament, he said this while talking to media persons. He said that every political party had its own point of view and ideology. “We must respect each other’s point of view. PPP has always endured hardships to promote democratic values, but we have never bowed down to the oppression and will not do so in the future, he said.

The provincial minister added the PPP government had made the 18th Amendment to the Constitution. This has benefited all the provinces but the federal government wants to repeal the amendment for its own purposes. However, the PPP will not allow this to happen, says the minister.

He said that PPP had played a significant role in positive legislation for Pakistan. PDM leadership needs to seriously consider the opinion of the PPP, but the final decision on resignations and other issues will be made by the PPP central leadership. He said that all the political parties and the people are in agreement that the selected rulers have made life of the people a living hell and everyone is worried due to inflation and unemployment.
