Masood urges people of Pakistan, Kashmir to raise voice against Indian brutalities in IIOJ and K

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan has said Indian atrocities in Indian illegally Occupied Jammu Kashmir (IIOJ and K) are increasing with every passing day.

Talking to PTV, he said Kashmiris are all time in battle field as youth are being killed and Indian forces are snatching agriculture land from the local farmers. He said responsibility of Pakistani and Kashmiri people has soared to raise voice against Indian brutality to stop killings of innocent people in occupied valley at every possible forum to expose dirty face of Modi.

IBMAS of IUB gets accreditation from NBEAC

BAHAWALPUR: The Institute of Business Management and Administrative Sciences (IBMAS) the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has received accreditation from the National Business Education and Accreditation Council (NBEAC).

Prof Dr Jawad Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, said that this great achievement is the result of the special guidance and patronage of the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Athar Mahboob and the tireless work of the faculty members.

There are a total of 207 business schools in the country with only 30 accreditations. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur BBA program will now be nationally and internationally recognized. A special ceremony was organized in connection with the accreditation of the BBA program of the Institute of Business Management and Administrative Sciences.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Athar Mahboob was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He congratulated Prof Dr Jawad Iqbal and the faculty members on this achievement and honor. He said that the journey of development of management science in different periods is very welcome. It is worth mentioning that in 2020, the Department of Management Sciences was given the status of Institute of Business Management and Administrative Sciences. The institute has 60 faculty members, including 32 PhD.

On the direction of the Vice Chancellor, the Institute was shifted to a state-of-the-art building. The building has state-of-the-art audio-video and comfortable classrooms and laboratories equipped with comfortable seats and electric boards and screens where a large number of students from BS, BBA, MBA, MS, MPhil and PhD are engaged in programs.

Sibbi police arrest bandits looting Hindu trader’s house

SIBI: Sibbi police claimed to have arrested dacoits involved in robbery at the residence of Hindu trader in an operation conducted in Sibbi area of Balochistan on Tuesday.

Addressing a press conference, Sardar Khalid Mustafa Korae, SSP, Sibbi said that dacoits involved in the robbery at the residence of Hindu trader in Sibbi were arrested in an operation conducted in Sibbi. He added that detained accused confessed to more than 10 dacoities. He added that gold, bangles, government arms and a government motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the alleged accused.

He said that alleged accused, including Naib Risaldar, Levies Force, Muhammad Alamgir and ex-levies sepoy, Muhammad Jahangir, were being interrogated. He said that police personnel who took part in the operation would be rewarded with cash prizes and appreciation certificates. Deputy Commissioner, Sibbi, Syed Zahid Shah said that the services of Muhammad Alamgir, Naib Risaldar, Levies Force, Sibbi had been suspended on July 19, 2021 on account of absence from duty.

Law Admission Test postponed in Sindh

Islamabad: The Law Admission Test scheduled for Sunday, 8th August 2021, has been postponed for candidates from Sindh province till further notice.

According to Director Higher Education Commission of Pakistan information released on Tuesday, the decision has been taken due to lockdown imposed by the Sindh government vide Home Department’s Order No. SOJI/8-1(04)2020 dated 30th July 2021. However, the Law Admission Test for candidates from rest of Pakistan shall be held as per schedule on Sunday, 8th August, 2021.

Karachi, Unity Foods Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange that board of directors meeting of the company will be held on August 06, 2021 at Karachi to consider the appointment of Director and other matter.

Further, the company has declared the closed period from August 04, 2021 to August 06, 2021.

Unity Foods Limited does not have significant operations. Previously, it was engaged in the manufacture and sale of yarn. The company was formerly known as Taha Spinning Mills Limited and changed its name to Unity Foods Limited in September 2017. Unity Foods Limited was incorporated in 1991 and is headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan.
