Imran Khan not sincere with Pakistan: Murtaza Abbasi 

Islamabad, July 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi has said that Imran mafia is not sincere with Pakistan and it always wanted to create chaos and unrest in the country. Talking to the people of his constituency, he said that the nation is aware of the fact that Imran Khan and his party led the country towards default. The Minister stated that the three and half years of poor governance of Imran Khan and his followers led the country towards disaster.

Govt committed to bring economic stability: Ahsan Iqbal

Islamabad, July 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for Planning, Development, and special Initiatives Professor Ahsan Iqbal has held PTI chief Imran Khan responsible for the destruction of country’s economy. Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Saturday, he said that the country is paying the cost of the deal signed with the IMF by the previous regime. He said that Imran Khan wants to exploit institutions for the sake of his vested interest. He said that energy plants of 11 thousand megawatts were executed during our government.

The Minister demanded to hear the case of Deputy Speaker’s ruling by a full bench. He said that everyone has to play a responsible role to steer the country out of economic crisis. He said that economic stability and development of the country is our top most priority.

Kaira backs Dost Mazari’s ruling in Punjab CM election 

Islamabad, July 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Advisor to the Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs Qamar Zaman Kaira has termed the ruling of deputy speaker Punjab assembly Dost Mohammad Mazari in the election of chief minister Punjab as per law and the constitution.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday, he said the Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly has rejected the vote of Pakistan Muslim League-Q members in light of the apex court decisions. He said Imran Khan is trying to influence the courts by provoking its voters to get decisions in his favour as he only accepted the decisions of his own choice.

Qamar Zaman Kaira said the apex court should constitute a full bench and give a comprehensive decision to avert political crisis. He said parliamentary matters should be resolved in the parliament instead of going to the courts every time.

UN must listen to Kashmiris as Yasin Malik’s life in danger: Mushaal 

Islamabad, July 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Peace and Culture Organisation, Chairperson Mushaal Hussein Mullick said that Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Yasin Malik is battling for life in notorious Tihar jail as he is deprived of all legal, constitutional and fundamental human rights. She was speaking at a hunger strike camp set up in front of the Islamabad Press Club on Saturday.

Mushaal Mullick revealed that fascist Narendra Modi-led Hindutva regime has crossed all limits of barbarism to silence the most powerful voice of Kashmir’s peaceful freedom struggle but they failed in their nefarious designs.

The chairperson said people of Kashmir set up hunger strikes camps worldwide to express solidarity with their beloved leader. Mushaal Mullick said that despite using all inhuman and unlawful tactics, her husband refused to surrender and compromise on the birth rights of Kashmiris. She urged the UN to the listen to Kashmiri people voice.

Imran Khan’s mismanagement created economic ‘tsunami’: Sherry 

Islamabad, July 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rehman said Imran Khan’s agenda of massive debt, mismanagement and violent division of society has created an economic “tsunami” in the country. In her response to Imran Khan’s tweet, she said that the country has been damaged by the worst regime of Imran Khan. Sherry Rehman said that in seventy years, Pakistan’s total debt was 24 thousand billion rupees, whereas; the previous government had borrowed 50,000 billion rupees in four years.

Pakistan condoles with Iran on loss of precious lives in floods

In a statement on Saturday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad said our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, and we wish speedy recovery to those injured as a result of this natural disaster. He said we stand in solidarity with the government and people of Iran at this moment of grief.

PM welcomes deal signed between Ukraine and Russia allowing Kyiv to resume exports of grain

Islamabad, July 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed the deal signed between Ukraine and Russia allowing Kyiv to resume exports of grain through Black Sea.

In a tweet today [Saturday], he said Ukraine grain deal inked in Istanbul is a historic victory of diplomacy signifying that all crises can be averted through meaningful engagement. He also congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on this remarkable achievement and thanked Turkiye for its key role in preventing global food crisis.
