3 armed members of the notorious ‘Kaka Gang’ arrested red-handed during a robbery in Karachi’s Shah Latif Town

Three alleged members of the “Kaka Gang” were arrested red-handed by Sindh Rangers troops while robbing a citizen in the Shah Latif Town area.

A Sindh Rangers spokesperson announced on Tuesday that as a result of the operation, Jehanzeb son of Javed, Long son of Khambo, and Muhammad Munir alias Hani son of Fayyaz Ahmed were arrested near Durkhshan Marriage Lawn.

Authorities recovered an unlicensed 30-bore pistol with ammunition, two motorcycles, three mobile phones, and an unspecified amount of cash from the possession of the arrested individuals.

During the initial investigation, the suspects confessed to their involvement in multiple incidents of street crimes and robberies in various parts of the city. The suspects admitted to snatching mobile phones and cash at gunpoint in areas including Shah Latif Town, Manzil Pump, Hospital Chowrangi, Shehryar Town, and Younis Chowrangi.

In a significant revelation, the accused Munir disclosed a specific criminal strategy where the gang would reconnoiter factory areas to systematically deprive employees of their wages on payday.

The same accused, Munir, also confessed to providing motorcycles on rent to other criminals for illegal activities.

Law enforcement officials have stated that raids are being conducted to trace and apprehend other associates linked to the gang.

The arrested suspects, along with the recovered weapons and other confiscated items, have been handed over to the local police for further legal action.

The Sindh Rangers have appealed to the public to report any information about such elements to the nearest check post, helpline 1101, or the Rangers Madadgar WhatsApp service at 03479001111 to help prevent crime, assuring that the identity of the informant will be kept confidential.
