40-member youth contingent arrives in Quetta after KP visit

QUETTA: Muhammad Mustafa Khan Achakzai, Focal Person, National Youth Exchange Program, has said that 40 member youth contingent of Balochistan arrived Quetta after visiting different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under National Youth Exchange Programme in connection with Project Pakistan.

This was informed by him while talking to media, including PPI, with Syed Muhammad Mehdi Kazmi and others upon arrival from KPK here on Saturday. He said that National Youth Exchange Program was a flagship program of Youth Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan to provide opportunities to the talented youth of the province to experience art, culture and social life and to serve as young ambassadors for inter provincial peace and harmony.

He said that in compliance with the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili, Coordinator to Chief Minister for Youth Affairs, Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani and Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan, Muhammad Ishaque Jamali, contingent of Balochistan, comprising boys and girls, paid a visit to different areas of KPK, including visit to Sethi house, Peshawar museum, Sports Complex, Peshawar, Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar, Bala Hisar Fort, Peshawar, Arbab Niaz Stadium, Peshawar, Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex, Charsada, Takht Bhae ruins, Mardan, Mardan Sports Complex, Mardan, Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Governor’s Secretariat during the stay of Balochistan’s contingent in KPK.

He said that contingent of Balochistan also had a meeting with Atif Khan, Senior Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, KPK, Tahir Aurakzai, Secretary, Tourism and Archives, KPK, Captain (Retd) Mushtaq Khan, Director General Tourism, KPK, Bakhtiar Khan besides meeting the faculty members, including Professors Fidaullah Sehrae, Professor Hussain Shaheed Soharwardi, of Peshawar University and Khan Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. He said that painting exhibition arranged by the students of Peshawar University was also inspected by the contingent of Balochistan during their stay in Peshawar.
