Security forces kill nine terrorists in Balochistan

RAWALPINDI: At least nine terrorists were killed in an intense fire exchange that took place between the terrorists and the security forces in Siah Koh area of Kohlu district, Balochistan province, said a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations Saturday.

The security forces also captured four injured terrorists in an operation against the Balochistan Liberation Army’s terrorists conducted on Nov 26 at 6 am. The terrorists were involved in the Kohlu Bazar bomb blast that claimed four lives and injured 19 passersby.

The organization was involved in kidnapping for ransom, extortion, and attacks on security forces in the region. Apart from this, the terrorists used to target Chinese engineers and labourers working on development projects in Balochistan. The terrorists were now preparing for attacks in Kohlu, Kahan, and Maywand. The security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation over the suspected presence of the terrorists in Siah Koh.

The operation started at 6 am on Saturday. There was a fierce exchange of fire between the surrounded terrorists and the security forces in which nine terrorists were killed while 3 were arrested in injured condition. The search operation of the security forces in the area continued. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from their possession.
