Five suspected dacoits have been arrested in an injured condition after four separate alleged encounters with law enforcement personnel in Naushahro Feroze district.
Naushahro Feroze District Police spokesman Shaukat Kaloo said on Monday that in the limits of Bhiria Road police, Ghulam Murtaza and Sanjrani Lashari were taken into custody after an encounter. Illegal weapons were also recovered from their possession.
In another incident in Bhiria City, police took an alleged dacoit named Nadir Lashari into custody in an injured state after an encounter near Jilbani Branch.
Meanwhile, in Kandiaro, authorities arrested Himmat Tanori near Regulator Mori. He was also injured during an alleged police encounter, and a weapon was recovered from his possession.
The fourth operation took place in Satheoja, where local police arrested Tahir Solangi, who was injured during a reported encounter.
The district spokesman said that all five arrested individuals were wanted in several old cases. The injured accused have been moved to a hospital for medical treatment.
