5 suspects involved in human smuggling, Hawala Hundi, and Copyright Act violation arrested from Lahore

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) busted a criminal network allegedly involved in human smuggling during operations in its Lahore zone on Wednesday, arresting five individuals.

According to officials, the group of accused was also involved in running a system of money transfer through illegal Hawala Hundi and copyright act violations.

The detained individuals have been identified as Asad Ali Zulfi, Sikandar Bhatti, Malik Haider Iqbal, Muhammad Sohail, and Muhammad Ijaz.

Officials reported seizing a large quantity of illegal goods during the raid. The recovered items included numerous counterfeit products violating the trademarks of well-known registered companies.
