6 injured, including 2 children, in celebratory firing at a wedding in Karachi’s Bhains Colony

Six people, including two ten-year-old boys, were injured as a result of celebratory aerial firing during a wedding ceremony in the Bhains Colony area of Malir District on Tuesday.

The incident occurred near Gol Ground on Bhains Colony Road No. 07, where the celebration was disrupted by aerial firing.

According to a report issued by the Station House Officer (SHO) of Sukhan Police Station, the ages of the injured range from ten to 32 years.

The injured have been identified as 10-year-old Jamshed Ali, 10-year-old Aman, 30-year-old Arsalan, 32-year-old Faizan, 24-year-old Satram, and 20-year-old Farid.

Following the incident, all six injured were immediately shifted to a hospital for medical attention.

Authorities have confirmed that an investigation has been initiated to determine the circumstances of the firing incident and to identify the individuals responsible.
