Two men abducted 45 days ago were released on Tuesday following a police operation in the katcha area of Khanpur, Shikarpur police said.
Ghulam Mustafa Brohi and Ghulam Qadir Rind were reportedly kidnapped using a honey trap within Naparkot police station’s jurisdiction, a statement from the Shikarpur SSP’s office confirmed. The men were safely recovered during a targeted operation led by Rustam police early Tuesday.
Authorities continue search operations in the area to arrest the kidnappers, but no suspects have been apprehended, raising concerns about the police’s handling of the case.
