NADRA Mobile App Launched, Three Regional Offices Announced

Islamabad: In a strategic move to enhance citizen services, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced the launch of the “NADRA Mobile App” and the establishment of three new regional offices. Starting January 17, the NADRA Pak-ID website will be closed, transitioning all services to the newly introduced mobile app.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, the Interior Minister emphasized that the new regional centers will be located in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gwadar, and Gilgit-Baltistan. This decision aims to streamline the process for citizens, particularly overseas Pakistanis, who have encountered challenges with the existing web-based system.

The shift to the mobile app is expected to address issues related to document uploads and fingerprint scanning, which have been problematic for users of the Pak-ID website. With this initiative, the government seeks to provide a more accessible and user-friendly platform for citizens requiring identification services.
