Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori visited the Saudi Consulate in Karachi, where he was received by Acting Consul General Abdil Rahman Saad Jumah. The visit centered around discussions on strengthening Pak-Saudi bilateral relations, boosting investment and trade, and addressing other pertinent issues.
According to a statement by the Sindh Governor House today, Tessori highlighted the longstanding emotional ties between the people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s consistent support during challenging times for Pakistan.
Tessori emphasized the impact of Saudi investments in reducing poverty and unemployment and encouraged Saudi investors to consider opportunities in various sectors within the province.
During the meeting, Acting Consul General Jumah reiterated Saudi Arabia’s dedication to Pakistan’s economic and defensive progress. In a gesture of goodwill, he presented Governor Tessori with a souvenir from Riyadh.
Earlier in the visit, Tessori expressed his gratitude for the warm reception at the consulate. He commended Saudi Arabia’s diplomatic efforts, particularly in the recent Gaza ceasefire agreement. As a token of appreciation, he presented the Consul General with a bouquet and sweets, acknowledging Saudi Arabia’s significant contributions.
