The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) informed today that cold and dry weather conditions are likely to continue in most parts of the country over the next 24 hours.
According to a statement by PMD, cold and dry weather is forecasted for Thursday and Friday throughout most areas, while hilly regions will experience very cold conditions tomorrow. The past 24 hours saw similar weather patterns, with isolated rain in northern Balochistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Rainfall was recorded in Kalat, Balochistan with 6mm, and in Drosh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 1mm. Minimum temperatures recorded today were notably low in several places, with Leh and Gupis experiencing -8°C, Astor and Kalam at -7°C, Skardu at -5°C, and Quetta, Kalat, Parachinar, Malamjabba at -3°C. Rawlakot and Murree recorded minimum temperatures of -2°C and -1°C respectively.
