Overseas Pakistanis have expressed full confidence and support for the government’s investment-friendly policies, applauding the steps taken by the current regime for expatriate welfare and development.
At the inaugural Overseas Pakistani Convention in Islamabad, speakers highlighted that in March this year, remittances from overseas Pakistanis surpassed four billion dollars, a historic achievement for the country. They extended gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir for organizing the prestigious event, promising to prioritize and address any issues faced by expatriates.
Furthermore, it was noted that around two million Pakistanis residing in the UK are eager to invest back home, encouraged by the productive and investor-friendly policies introduced by the government.
Speakers proposed the introduction of five-year plans for both skilled and unskilled workers, along with exploring new opportunities in the digital global market. They emphasized that millions of Pakistanis could secure employment in various countries through the use of modern technology.
