A meeting took place between the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, and former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan, at the President’s House, Kashmir House in Islamabad today.
During the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the Kashmir issue and Indian oppression and brutality. Both leaders condemned the firing incident on tourists in Occupied Kashmir and expressed concern over it. They stated that India is oppressing the Kashmiris through false flag operations. President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry mentioned that India’s actions are attempts to sabotage the freedom movement.
Both leaders declared the Indian occupation of Occupied Kashmir as illegal and called upon the international community to play its role in resolving this issue. They noted that Pakistan and India are nuclear powers, and any incident could lead to a precursor of nuclear war. They appealed to the international community to help grant the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination according to United Nations resolutions.
The leaders agreed that the violation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir and the resolution of the Kashmir issue will be raised on every forum. Other matters of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
