Deputy Commissioner Sukkur visits Civil Hospital on public complaints, reviews medical services

Deputy Commissioner Sukkur, Nader Shahzad Khan, visited the Civil Hospital Sukkur and reviewed the patients’ issues, issuing immediate resolution orders to the staff. Accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Sukkur City, Tobia Flak Rao, and Medical Superintendent Dr. Akhtar Hussain Mirani, he inspected various sections, including the MRI and CT scan departments, children’s and general wards, and the operation theatre, and reviewed the medical services being provided. Several individuals directly lodged their complaints with the Deputy Commissioner, on which the Deputy Commissioner issued instructions to Dr. Mirani for their resolution.

Dr. Mirani briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the available resources, challenges faced, and the hospital’s needs. He also provided details of the current situation, patient numbers, staffing levels, and equipment utilization.

Khan expressed satisfaction with the cleanliness, equipment performance, and patient care in some sections of the hospital and emphasized that improving public healthcare is the administration’s top priority. He directed the hospital leadership to ensure patient care, implement improvement measures, and further raise the standards. He reiterated the administration’s commitment to high-quality healthcare and assured the allocation of resources for the betterment of medical centers like Civil Hospital, promising regular visits to the hospital.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed the hospital administration to prioritize patient welfare, improve the hospital system, and ensure cleanliness.
