Health Minister Mustafa Kamal today pledged to transform the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) into a leading international regulatory body.
He emphasized the government’s dedication to modernizing DRAP to meet current obstacles and global benchmarks. Presiding over a DRAP meeting in Islamabad, Kamal instructed officials to accelerate improvements to Pakistan’s pharmaceutical evaluation procedures.
He highlighted the importance of obtaining international recognition and reaching the World Health Organization”s Maturity Level 3.
The minister emphasized that global accreditation will guarantee the effectiveness, safety, and quality of medications, ultimately protecting public well-being.
