Balochistan Announces Special Tourism Package on World Tourism Day

The Balochistan Tourism Department organized a grand event for World Tourism Day, at which a new special package was announced to promote tourism in the region. The event was attended by people from various fields and artists, while Dr. Abu Hassan Meri, Director General of the Iranian Cultural Center, participated as the chief guest.

At the event, Dr. Daud Tareen, Director of Culture, Balochistan, and Jamil Hussain Baloch, Director of Archaeology, highlighted the global significance of Balochistan’s tourist sites. They emphasized the need for more publicity to enhance the region’s appeal. A special package was announced, which will be overseen by Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism and Culture Nawabzada Zareen Khan Magsi and Secretary of Tourism and Culture Sohail Rehman Baloch. This package focuses on Quetta and its surrounding areas and will facilitate tourist access to various locations in Balochistan.

A highlight of the event was a theater drama directed by Amanullah Nasir, which showcased the stunning landscapes and cultural richness of Balochistan. The audience also had the opportunity to enjoy music from artists like Khaliq Farhad.

Deputy Director of Tourism Gahram Bakhshi and Assistant Director Younis Baloch were also among the officials who highlighted the department’s efforts to promote tourism. At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Abu Hassan Meri and Dr. Daud Tareen presented shields to the guests, highlighting the significance of the occasion in the development of Balochistan’s tourism sector.
