Latif University Introduces New E-Testing System for Admissions

Shah Abdul Latif University is introducing an E-Testing and E-Evaluation system for its 2026 academic session in view of a significant increase in student admissions, a major step towards modernization for the province’s third-largest university. The decision was finalized in a high-level meeting held on Thursday to manage arrangements for the entry test scheduled for October 14.

Addressing the meeting, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk highlighted the significant increase in the number of applicants this year and emphasized the institution’s commitment to providing quality education through a modern framework. He said, “We have to provide quality education under the modern system,” and stressed the move to digitize the admission process.

Detailed preparations are underway to ensure a smooth examination day. The university will establish specific examination blocks in various departments, and clear instructions have been issued to guarantee an organized and enhanced environment. Special emphasis has been placed on providing adequate seating to ensure the best performance of all candidates.

Comprehensive logistical measures are also being implemented for transport and security. Coordinated efforts will be made to manage traffic flow for easy access to the test centers, while strict security arrangements will maintain a safe and orderly environment. Strict instructions have also been issued to improve the cleanliness of the campus.

The university has also made special arrangements for accompanying parents and guests. Arrangements are being made for comfortable waiting areas and the availability of basic facilities to provide them with a pleasant environment during the test.

Prospective students can download their roll number slips from the university’s online portal. The Director of Admissions will provide assistance should any candidate face an issue. Furthermore, a guidance counter will also be established at the university’s main gate to facilitate applicants on the test day.

During the meeting, a committee comprising deans was formed to further improve the admission procedure. The meeting concluded with the participants appreciating the Vice-Chancellor’s leadership and efforts in elevating the institution’s standards in education and research. The meeting was attended by Pro-Vice-Chancellors, Deans, heads of departments, and other senior administrative officers.
