On Teachers’ Day, Karachi’s Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab paid tribute to teachers, emphasizing that teachers play a key role in shaping the nation’s future. He said that teachers are not only the architects of the country’s development but also the guarantors of the future.

Mayor Wahab, highlighting the essential contribution of teachers in the promotion of education, said that their role has always been central to the development of education. He reiterated his commitment to recognize the immense services of those teachers, who provide guidance to the younger generation towards light, knowledge, and moral values.

The Mayor reiterated that an educated society is the foundation of development and progress. As part of his commitment, Mayor Wahab assured that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is constantly striving to improve educational institutions across the city.
