Sindh Food Authority seizes 1,500 rotten eggs from a bakery in Karachi

In a significant operation against food safety violations, the Sindh Food Authority today seized 1,500 rotten eggs from a bakery in Karachi. Deputy Director Vigilance Karachi Region, Basit Abbasi, led the operation.

The operation uncovered a bakery in the East district, where over 10,000 expired and rotten eggs were being used. Consequently, two bakery manufacturing units were sealed for violating food safety laws. The seized unsafe items were disposed of in accordance with environmental protection laws.
