Gold crosses Rs 423,000 per tola after surge in bullion market

The price of gold saw a significant increase in the bullion market, with the per tola price of 24 karat gold reaching a new high of Rs 423,862 on Monday after a substantial increase of Rs 1,300.

This adjustment in local prices reflects the increase in the global market, where the per ounce price of gold in the international bullion market rose by $13 to $4,015.

Similarly, in the local markets, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 1,115, closing the day at Rs 363,393.

This bullish trend was not limited to gold, as silver prices also saw a rise. The per tola price of silver increased by Rs 25 to Rs 5,152, while the price of 10 grams of silver closed at Rs 4,417 after an increase of Rs 22.
