The District Health Officer of Khairpur has warned that no negligence will be tolerated in the ongoing Measles and Rubella vaccination campaign, and has stressed the urgent need to secure children’s lives.
During an inspection of vaccination teams on Tuesday, DHO Dr. Masroor-ul-Hassan Shah visited Thari, Wasrio Wahan, and other local centers. He directed health workers to perform their duties honestly and to improve public outreach to better inform parents about the campaign.
In a separate development, the district administration has called a meeting to organize the first Husn Afroz Women’s Marathon.
This meeting, which will focus on the logistical arrangements of the event, will be held on November 19 at 3 PM at the Sachal Sarmast Hall of the DC office and will be presided over by Deputy Commissioner Fayyaz Hussain Rahoojo.
