Quetta Customs Seize Smuggled Luxury Vehicles Worth Rs158 Million in Major Bust

The Collectorate of Customs Enforcement in Quetta on Thursday claimed to have impounded multiple non-customs paid (NCP) vehicles valued at an estimated Rs. 158 million during an intelligence-led raid on a commercial showroom.

The operation, which took place at a business located on Saryab Road, was initiated following information from credible intelligence sources.

Among the confiscated assets were several high-value automobiles, including a 2020 bullet-proof Toyota Revo, three Toyota Land Cruisers from models 2023, 2016, and 2007, and a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid.

Officials credited the action’s success to the crucial role of effective coordination and timely support from law enforcement agencies in Balochistan.

The seizure reflects an ongoing effort to curb illegal trade. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) reiterated its resolve to combat smuggling, illicit trade, and corrupt practices to protect the national economy and safeguard government revenue.
