The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested four individuals during an ongoing crackdown against human smuggling in the Multan zone.
The suspects were taken into custody today by the FIA for their alleged involvement in operations based on visa fraud and the illegal smuggling of migrants.
The accused have been identified as Ansar Khalid, Muhammad Arshad, Rana Muhammad Imran, and Muhammad Yousaf, who face charges of defrauding citizens with false promises of sending them abroad.
According to the agency, the four individuals went into hiding after failing to fulfill the promises made to their clients, prompting law enforcement agencies to take action and arrest them.
A formal inquiry has been initiated by the authorities against the activities of the detained suspects for further detailed investigation.
