Operation against visa fraud and human trafficking in Lahore, 4 arrested

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested four individuals believed to be part of a major visa fraud and human trafficking network, ending a manhunt for the suspects who were on the run after extorting large sums of money from citizens with false promises of overseas travel.

Officials from the FIA Lahore Zone on Sunday confirmed the arrests of Arshad Khan, Hamza Jutt, Izhar Pervaiz, and Sunil Cedric.

The group is accused of defrauding multiple individuals by taking large sums of money on the assurance of sending them to foreign countries, a promise they later failed to fulfill.

After receiving the funds, the alleged culprits went into hiding to evade both their victims and law enforcement agencies.
