2 killed, woman’s remains found in violent incidents in Karachi

Two people were killed and the remains of a woman were found on Sunday as a result of various incidents of violence across the city, while two other individuals were injured by gunfire in separate incidents.

In Surjani Town, 60-year-old Akbar Khan was shot and killed near a crush plant located at Hub Dam.

Authorities also reported that 35-year-old Wasim, found near Gate No. 3 of Liaquat National Hospital, was pronounced dead upon arrival at the medical center.

In another gruesome incident, the decomposed, several-days-old body of an unidentified woman was recovered from a stream in the Lyari Meera Naka area of Pak Colony.

Meanwhile, in Faqir Colony of Orangi Town Sector 10, 55-year-old Dilshad Khatun was injured by a gunshot.

In a separate incident in Landhi Moinabad No. 1, 28-year-old Sahib Khan was injured by a stray bullet near the shrine of Nayyar Lakkha Baba.
