A married couple was found dead in their home on Sunday morning in Chari Mangla village, within the limits of Sindhri police station, in what authorities are considering a joint suicide resulting from a domestic dispute. The incident occurred near Chari Mangla village within the jurisdiction of the Sindhri police station.
Law enforcement agencies have identified the victims as 55-year-old Raju Kolhi and his wife, 50-year-old Premi Kolhi. According to the police, the couple ended their lives by hanging. Upon receiving information, personnel from the Sindhri police station arrived at the scene, collected evidence, and moved the bodies to Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas for post-mortem examination.
Preliminary police investigation has revealed that a domestic quarrel was the cause of this tragic incident. However, local residents have stated that the family was facing severe financial difficulties, leading to speculation that poverty might be the underlying cause.
Authorities have clarified that a final opinion on the matter will be formed only after the post-mortem report is received and the investigation is complete.
