Police officials are investigating the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of a 40-year-old woman whose body was recovered from the Mehmoodabad area on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Saima, wife of Nawaz. Her body was found near a residence in Street No. 28 of Mehmoodabad No. 06.
Rescue workers from the Edhi Foundation shifted the body to Jinnah Hospital, where a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
The Baloch Colony Police Station has taken notice of the incident and initiated an inquiry into the matter. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
