Police have launched an investigation after the body of an unidentified person was found in a vacant plot in New Karachi today, raising questions about the cause and circumstances of his death.
The deceased, estimated to be around 45 years old, was found in Sector 5 of New Karachi
on a vacant piece of land near an ice factory.
Upon receiving the information, an Edhi Foundation ambulance reached the scene and took the body into custody.
The body was later moved to Abbasi Hospital, where a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Officials at the New Karachi Bilal Colony police station have registered a case and initiated further investigation to identify the individual and the incident.
