Three individuals have been arrested, two of whom were also injured during the encounter, following a heavy exchange of fire between law enforcement agencies and alleged dacoits in the Machar Colony area of Keamari on Sunday morning.
Officials from the Docks Police Station confirmed that after the shooting, both injured suspects were immediately transferred to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. During a search of the crime scene, three pistols and their bullets were recovered.
In addition to the weapons, the authorities also took a snatched motorcycle into custody. The police have initiated a formal investigation into the matter, and further investigation is underway.
