Newly elected representatives from various bar associations across the Rawalpindi Division have raised significant professional, administrative, and facility-related challenges directly with the federal law ministry, securing a commitment that their concerns would be addressed on a priority basis.
The dialogue took place during a meeting with Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar. Minister of State for Law and Justice, Barrister Aqeel Malik, was also in attendance, says an official report today.
During the session, officials from each bar association were given the opportunity to detail the specific issues and institutional hurdles affecting their members. The representatives presented their key priorities and articulated the difficulties faced by the legal fraternity in their respective jurisdictions.
Senator Tarar listened to the matters raised and assured the delegation that the government would pursue practical and sustainable solutions. He stated that corrective measures would be sought in consultation with the provincial government and relevant authorities to ensure improved facilities and institutional backing for legal professionals.
Minister of State Barrister Aqeel Malik reaffirmed the administration’s dedication to maintaining effective coordination and full cooperation with the lawyers” community, emphasising that continued engagement is crucial to further fortify the nation”s justice system.
