A suspected robber was arrested in an injured state after a fierce exchange of fire with law enforcement officers on Tuesday in the Sukhan area of Malir, while his accomplice managed to escape.
Sukhan Police Station officials identified the arrested person as Sultan son of Hussain. Police recovered a pistol, bullets, and a mobile phone from the scene.
After the encounter, the injured suspect was immediately transferred to a medical facility for treatment under police custody.
Authorities have initiated a formal investigation into the incident, and efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the second individual who escaped during the shootout.
