The vice chancellor highlighted that Pakistan’s majority-youth population represents a significant asset, and equipping them with modern technology is a strategic move to strengthen the economies of Sindh, the nation, and the global community. He encouraged the recipients to utilise the devices to transform their ideas into tangible contributions for the country’s development and societal welfare.

Dr Sahrai described the event as a celebration of merit, confirming that recipients were chosen based on their academic performance. He noted that the laptops would serve as a powerful aid for their study and research work, adding that the technological proficiency of today’s youth ensures the gadgets will effectively enhance their learning activities.

The vice chancellor expressed his appreciation for the Federal Government of Pakistan and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for their role in connecting students with contemporary technology.

In his welcome address, Dr Mansoor Ahmed Khuhro, Chairperson of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Mathematical Sciences, echoed these sentiments, thanking the government, HEC, and the university leadership.
