Raza Takes Helm as Acting KCCI Head, Pledges to Uphold Business Interests

Muhammad Raza, the Senior Vice-President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), has taken charge as the organisation”s Acting President, ensuring immediate leadership continuity for the city”s premier business body.

According to a report by Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the transition in leadership follows the departure of KCCI President Rehan Hanif, who has proceeded overseas on a private visit. In his absence, Mr Raza will undertake all responsibilities and wield the full authority of the presidential office.

Upon assuming the interim role, Acting President Raza reaffirmed his dedication to advancing the Chamber”s core mission of safeguarding and promoting the interests of the commercial and industrial sectors. He stressed that the KCCI will sustain its proactive dialogue with governmental bodies and relevant stakeholders on critical economic, fiscal, trade, and industrial matters to ensure the effectiveness of its advocacy.

Furthermore, Mr Raza provided assurances to the KCCI membership that the Chamber”s day-to-day operations and strategic affairs will be managed seamlessly throughout this period. He confirmed that all current initiatives will proceed without any disruption.
