Two policemen were injured during an armed encounter with alleged robbers inside a house in the Defence area today.
The law enforcement personnel were injured after an exchange of fire that erupted during the encounter with the assailants.
In response to the confrontation, Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar has taken notice of the matter.
The provincial minister has subsequently requested a comprehensive report on the incident from the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for the South district.
Mr. Lanjar issued directives to ensure the provision of the highest quality medical care to the wounded officers. “There should be no negligence in the treatment of the injured personnel,” said Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar.
