A citizen shot and killed an alleged robber during a robbery attempt near Happy School in Block 16 of FB Area on Monday.
The deceased, who has not yet been identified, is a male estimated to be between 25 and 26 years old, who sustained fatal injuries from a gunshot wound during the robbery.
Authorities have confirmed that a female accomplice of the deceased suspect has been taken into custody. A third suspect, believed to be a male, managed to escape and remains at large.
Samanabad police, present at the scene, recovered a pistol and bullets. The body of the deceased has been moved to a hospital for medico-legal procedures.
