Access to digital skills and technology is a top priority for national development: Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication

According to Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima, the federal government has declared access to modern technology and equipping youth with digital skills across the country as its top priority, and considers digital development a fundamental pillar for national progress.

In a message issued on Pakistan Day, the minister affirmed that comprehensive measures are being taken to promote digitalization and ensure the equitable distribution of technology throughout the country.

Ms. Fatima said that equipping the younger generation with modern digital capabilities is the “need of the hour” for a bright future.

She said this occasion commemorates the 1940 Lahore Resolution, which laid the foundation for the nation’s creation.

The minister emphasized that this day is a time to remember the vision, determination, and sacrifices of the founders of Pakistan.

Concluding her statement, she stressed that united, collective efforts are indispensable for building a strong and prosperous Pakistan.
