A 62-year-old man allegedly committed suicide at his residence in Federal B Area on Monday, after which police launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances of the death.
Authorities have identified the deceased as Rashid son of Tajammul Hussain.
According to initial information released by officials of the Gulberg police station, the incident occurred in Block-6.
Law enforcement personnel shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for the completion of medico-legal formalities.
