Three people, including a senior citizen, were injured in two separate incidents of armed violence over personal differences in different areas of the city on Saturday, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
The initial incident took place within the limits of Khokhrapar police station where a 60-year-old man was injured in the firing.
The victim, identified as Qaiser son of Malak Bagh Ali, was targeted in the Khokhrapar No- 2 ½ locality. He was promptly moved to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for urgent medical attention.
In a separate occurrence in Gadap City, two other men sustained gunshot wounds. Authorities identified the victims as 30-year-old Ramzan son of Ghulam Mustafa, and 38-year-old Ali Hassan son of Allah Bux.
This second altercation took place in Hassan Bux Goth and was also attributed by officials to a personal conflict. Both injured parties were transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.
Officials from both the Khokhrapar and Gadap City police stations have confirmed that further investigations into the respective shootings are now underway to determine the complete circumstances and apprehend the individuals responsible.
