President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have lauded the nation’s security forces following a successful intelligence-based operation in Bannu, which resulted in the elimination of a prominent Fitna Al Khwarij ringleader and a suicide attacker.
According to an official information today, both leaders underscored that the successful engagement and neutralisation of key militants, including the principal figure of the Khawarij group and an associated suicide attacker, served as a testament to the exemplary professional skills and unwavering bravery exhibited by the security personnel.
President Zardari specifically articulated that at a juncture when Pakistan is channelling its collective endeavours towards fostering regional and global peace, hostile elements persistently strive to undermine these initiatives through acts of terrorism. He emphatically stated the nation’s resolve to nullify such anti-peace and anti-Islam conspiracies, reiterating Pakistan”s steadfast commitment to eradicating the pervasive threat of terrorism.
Concurring with the President, Prime Minister Sharif similarly reaffirmed the country’s resolute dedication to completely expunging terrorism from its borders.
