Police in Okara today promptly arrested a suspect following a tragic incident of a woman being raped at gunpoint, and have registered a case and initiated immediate investigations.
According to official sources, the victim woman (S) was allegedly alone at her residence when the suspect, Khushi Bhatti, reportedly threatened her with a firearm and then raped her.
Upon receiving information regarding this serious incident, Shergarh Police personnel immediately intervened and took effective measures to take the alleged suspect into custody without delay.
Authorities have confirmed that legal proceedings against the arrested individual are underway, and further evidence is being meticulously collected to support the prosecution.
