Two robbers were killed today during an exchange of fire with Shaheen Force during a police encounter on Liaquatabad Post Office Bridge in Karachi’s District Central West Zone.
The incident occurred when the suspects were busy robbing a citizen. An alert passerby immediately informed Shaheen Force officers about the ongoing street crime.
Responding quickly, the police unit arrived at the scene and attempted to apprehend the individuals. Upon seeing law enforcement officers, the suspects allegedly opened fire, leading to a direct exchange.
In the exchange of fire, both criminals were killed. Authorities recovered several items from the deceased, including weapons, mobile phones, and a motorcycle.
The process of identifying the deceased individuals is ongoing. Their bodies have been shifted to a local hospital for necessary legal proceedings.
Investigators are also in the process of obtaining the suspects’ criminal history. Further investigations into the incident are actively underway.
