An encounter took place between police and robbers in Orangi Town Iqbal Market Chishti Nagar. During this, an alleged robber died after being wounded during a clash with law enforcement officials.
The incident occurred on 28 April 2026 when police clashed with suspected individuals in Iqbal Market. Following an exchange of fire, an alleged robber was apprehended in an injured state.
The wounded culprit was taken into custody, while his accomplice managed to evade arrest. Authorities recovered a pistol, several cartridges, and a quantity of cash from the scene.
The apprehended suspect was transferred to a medical facility for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries.
Police, operating from the Iqbal Market Police Station within the Western District, have confirmed that further investigations into the matter are currently underway.
