Pakistan and Turkiye have agreed to enhance cooperation in the health sector. In this regard, a joint team of medical experts from Pakistan and Turkiye will be formed, the purpose of which is to identify potential opportunities for the exchange of expertise between the two countries in the health sector.
This significant development was announced on Tuesday by Federal Minister for Health, Syed Mustafa Kamal, during his recent meeting with the Turkish Ambassador in Islamabad.
During the meeting, extensive discussions were held between the dignitaries regarding strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health sector. The discussions also included exploring investment opportunities to promote public-private partnerships and strengthen health infrastructure.
Both sides agreed to enhance their joint efforts in the manufacturing, exchange, and technical promotion of medical equipment and other health-related items.
