Pakistan, Turkiye Establish Joint Team to Bolster Health Sector Ties

Pakistan and Turkiye are set to significantly enhance their cooperation in the health sector, with the formation of a joint team of experts tasked with identifying areas for mutual benefit and experience sharing.

Federal Minister for National Health Services, Syed Mustafa Kamal, made this announcement following a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador in Islamabad, where detailed discussions focused on strengthening bilateral collaboration in healthcare, according to a report today.

The dialogue also encompassed strategies for fostering public-private partnerships and investigating investment avenues aimed at fortifying the health sector within both nations.

Furthermore, officials from both countries reached an accord to broaden their collaborative efforts in the manufacturing, commercial exchange, and technology transfer concerning medical devices and other essential healthcare products.
